Overview Of The Adelaide Hills Referees Branch
The Adelaide Hills Referees Branch is affiliated with the FFSA whose primary object is to provide refereeing services to the Adelaide Hills Junior Soccer Association. However AHRB referees may also be asked to officiate at other FFSA endorsed events including the boys and girls Junior Premier Leagues and the South Australian State and Country and Zone Championships.
Referees are paid for their services but must have completed the Level 4 and Level 5 Referees Course (see below for details). Referees must be at least 13 years of age and are allocated matches according to their level of experience and skills.
The training is conducted by the FFSA Referees Development personnel and qualifications are recognised by Football Federation Australia. Once referees join the AHRB they attend training during the season to keep their skills up to date and are provided with at least one training assessment in the field.
