Match report

This was the first hit out for the Under 10’s this year. The team welcomed some new faces and played a solid game for the first time as a new team.

Elliot Klein worked tirelessly in the midfield and provided many goal scoring options for both himself and Josh Constable. Charlie linked up well in attack and provided a number of crucial passes that allowed a number of goals to be scored. Newcomers to the team Rojo Nambiar and Jordan Virgara injected some electrifying pace into the wings which caused the opposition some major headaches. Jamie Spooner and had his first run with the side and played well in midfield.

The Warriors defence was an impenetrable wall led by Finn Cradock, Nate Daltrey, Scott and Axel Vassos took care of the keeper duties and made some great saves in goal to ensure that the team started with a clean sheet for the year. Deagen Arnold had his first run in defence for the Warriors and had some good touches after a year off from soccer. Finn desperate for a spell forward had a quick run in the midfield later in the game and scored a goal to finish the morning off nicely.
