Match report
A cloudy and grey Saturday did nothing to dampen the spirits or ability of Strathalbyn Strikers u14 Red pulling off a convincing win against 3rd place competitors Stirling Districts White in the division 2 competition.

Strathalbyn made it quite clear to the visiting team from the start of the game that points at this stage in the competition make a huge difference to their standing on the ladder. Strathalbyn's defense played with energy and commendable commitment and in so doing so gave the midfield the momentum necessary to play their forwards into repeated attacking opportunities. 

With complete control over their offensive  game and a strong desire to win, Strathalbyn netted the first of many goals thanks to fantastic teamwork by the two strikers.

2 more goals came as a result excellently  taken shots by way of a penalty and a free kick against the visitors mid game,and,with every player putting in their maximum effort,the outcome was for a hugely enjoyable well played game and a worthy win for the home team.
