A great day on a wet pitch set the scene for a tough game. After the toss the game surged both ways as the teams tried to find a way through. A charge from the Rams was stopped and resulted in a penalty goal by Aiden Williams, the Rams got the jump to 1-0. With a few more tough challenges and covering every piece of the pitch the Rams pushed up for Aiden to get one more goal before half time, but Stirling districts would not be denied and they worked to the goals once more and this time converted to bring it back to 2-1.

After half time the game continued to be a tight tussle with no team getting an advantage finally Stirling Districts found the break they needed to draw even at 2-2. the Rams would not give up and they raised the game to another level and worked the field to have the midfielder Eric Fahner, move up in support and score the winning goal.

Everyone there enjoyed a great display of junior soccer and it showed that great soccer was alive and well in the Adelaide Hills.
