Match report
Hahndorf's under 8 soccer team played a solid game against Torrens Valley on a soggy ground
at Birdwood.
Hahndorf were quick out of the blocks with goals shared between Levi Neumann, Joshua Blain
and Oliver Knight. There were also a lot of near misses with the Torrens Valley defence holding strong. Carter Hartley was the goalkeeper for Hahndorf in the first half, keeping his feet in a very muddy goal sqaure.
In the 2nd half, both sides were evenly matched kicking one goal each. Hahndorf's goal was
scored by Owen Hoyle. Soren Mickan, Violet Mitchell and Indie Dunning
were strong in defence moving forward and setting up many shots at
goal. Blain manned the goals for Hahndorf in the 2nd half, with some great saves.
It was a great winter morning for soccer with players from both teams enjoying the muddy pitch.
It was a fun, exciting game to watch in the difficult conditions!
