The match between Hahndorf and Bridgewater took place on a blustery yet sunny day. The players persevered through the challenging wind, showcasing their skills and determination. The Hahndorf line up consisted of Hennessy, Griggs, Roeszler, Ross, Parkyn, Sulskis, Davies, Glynn. The match kicked off with both teams displaying enthusiasm and eagerness to succeed.

After an initial shot by Hennessy that was saved by the Bridgewater goalie, the Hahndorf team continued to press forward. Davies, a key player for Hahndorf, made an impressive save to deny Bridgewater's first attempt at scoring. Griggs, with his persistence, took a couple of shots at the goal, narrowly missing the target on both occasions. Despite the near misses, Hahndorf maintained their offensive pressure. In an unexpected turn of events, chaos briefly erupted when Bridgewater's Labradoodle entered the field. Once the situation was resolved, both teams quickly regained their focus and continued playing.

Bridgewater managed to break through Hahndorf's defence and scored the first goal of the match, taking an early lead. However, Hahndorf responded swiftly. Roeszler initiated a brilliant attacking move, passing the ball to Hennessy, who capitalised on the opportunity and scored Hahndorf's first goal, equalising the score. The Hahndorf coach couldn't contain his excitement as the team displayed resilience and determination in their pursuit of victory.

Motivated by the equaliser, Hahndorf continued to press forward. Their persistence paid off as they netted two more goals before the end of the first half, firmly establishing their lead in the match. Overall, the first half of the match was characterised by Hahndorf's dominant performance, scoring three goals to Bridgewater's one. Hahndorf displayed their attacking prowess, while Bridgewater demonstrated resilience despite the deficit. As the teams headed into halftime, Hahndorf held a commanding lead. The players and coaches were likely to discuss strategies to maintain their advantage in the second half, while Bridgewater would aim to stage a comeback. 

At the opening of the second half the Hahndorf team, particularly defenders Glynn and Sulskis, played a commanding role in repelling Bridgewater's ongoing fightback. Davis, alongside the rest of the team, continued to work hard in goals. Bridgewater showed determination and looked hot on the field, pushing forward in search of goals. The Hahndorf parents, aware of the intense competition, discussed the potential benefits of ice baths.

The midfield play intensified, with Harris unleashing a booming shot straight into the goalie's chest. Moments later, Ross contributed to the attacking momentum with his impressive moves. It seemed like a relentless onslaught from Parkyn and Hennessy, with the Hahndorf crowd remaining steadfast and supportive.
