Stirling Districts White hosted Hahndorf. The Hahndorf U14's were full of enthusiasm despite being two players down. Early on, good pressure from Hahndorf midfielders Mathew Knight, Julian Hack and Angus McCrone and solid defending by Gabe Aylen, Elwin Aylen, Damon Martin and Konrad Michael held Stirling at bay. Hahndorf Goalkeeper Thomas Boekel saved an early shot at goal to keep the scores at zero zero.

Good effort from Hahndorf defender Damon Martin thwarted Stirling strikers. Elwin Aylen saved an imminent goal. Angus McCrone blocked a close call. 

The combination of Thomas Boekel and Konrad Michael killed off a Stirling challenge. Elwin Aylen kept strikers wide of goals. Hamish Robertson relieves Mathew Knight.

Courageous rally from Stefan Panich rescued the ball from three opposing players. Tom Boekel blocks dangerous ball but unfortunately Stirling followed up with a goal.

Stirling's corner attempt clips top rail but did not find the net. Hahndorf headed up by Elwin Aylen pushed hard up to Stirling's goal in retaliation. Despite strident effort by Hahndorf they couldn't stop Stirling from scoring and were down at half time.

Some fancy footwork from James Austin kept possession of the ball in the second half. Stefan Panich and Julian Hack collaborated well leading up to a goal by Stefan Panich.

Gabe Aylen was a consistently strong defender. Orland Rettig covered centre and was a great support to the defenders. 

Overall Hahndorf U14’s exhibited tenacity and played hard to the end. They were however not strong enough on the day to beat Stirling White.
