Blackwood Forest hosted Torrens Valley at Springbank Secondary School for the Round 18 match with kick off at 10am.

Torrens Valley wasted no time, with Harry P scoring their first goal within minutes of the first whistle. Blackwood’s Austin N received a pass right in front of goal 11 minutes later and equalised the score. End-to-end play ensued for the rest of the half, with Torrens Valley scoring and Blackwood answering. Harry P found the back of the net a further two times for Torrens Valley and Elisha S of Blackwood scoring twice. Some great saves, active defensive play and some off-target shots kept the scores to 3 goals apiece at half time.

Torrens Valley exercised greater control and precise passing in the second half, and this translated into greater scoring opportunities. They scored their 4th for the match approximately 10 minutes into play after quashed attempts by both teams. Blackwood’s Liam D scored their equaliser and their final goal for the match from a brilliant header.
