It is a crisp morning as the mighty magpies take on the majestic Wine flies in the picturesque Willunga oval. Official attendance 46 and two dogs, which is not bad considering we are right next door to the Willunga markets with such temptation as hand rolled french pastries and the aroma of barista made  coffee and  bacon and egg rolls floats across the oval.

And we are underway with hahndorf winning the toss and shooting to the Southern end. Jet Zahra is tripped and earns a penalty in the first few minutes but narrowly misses to the left. Zahra has another shot at goal a few minutes later but this time misses to the right. And another by Zahra and misses to the right. No 8 for Willunga strikes and flies over the cross bar, and another shot that is well saved by the keeper. Fourth time lucky for Zahra as he stretches to score the first goal of the game. Levi Beesley narrowly misses to the right then Luciann Tinsley-Smith's shot is saved. Beesley strikes strongly but is saved. No 3 for Willunga runs half way down the pitch and scores. Zahra has scored another goal after a spilled save by the goalkeeper. Beesley nearly scores just misses to the left. Again a great strike by Levi is saved. Zahra has another shot at goal that is saved. Cooper Liddle shoots and misses to the right. Another good save by hahndorf goalkeeper Hayden Lien. Joash Ng shoots from long range and narrowly misses to the right. Harrison Gould strikes but is saved. Isaac Bonilla-Killey shoots and is saved. 28 from Willunga scores and It's all tied up at 2 all. Beesley shoots but well saved. Ng runs and shoots but well saved again. Another good save by Lien. And that's half time folks in a fast paced entertaining first half.

And the second is underway as the sun begins to shine. Liddle scored the opening goal after a spilled ball from the keeper. Good aggression by Tinsley-Smith as she hip and shoulders no 3. Ng strikes and is well saved by Willunga goalkeeper. Ng scores a great goal flying past the goalkeeper. Great strike by Gould and an even better save by the Willunga goalkeeper. Ng shoots and misses to the right. Zahra shoots a powerful goal. And Ng shoots and misses again to the right. Liddle shoots and its well saved. Good save by Beesley who is now in goals. Ng shoots wildly and narrowly slides over the cross bar. Great defending by Bonilla-Killey all day saves another goal. Good save by Beesley. Great defending by Angus Mufsud saves a certain goal. Tinsley-Smith and Zahra both take shots at goal in a frenetic minute of soccer. No 3 for Willunga scores a good goal. Gould strikes well but is denied by the keeper. Spectacular run down the wing finishing in a goal. Misfud (the ROCK) solid in defence again saves a goal. 15 for Willunga scores. Gould strikes well but hits the right post.
Ng shoots but well saved again. Great save by Beesley in goals. No 8 for Willunga scores a good goal. And that's the end of an entertaining game that sees Hahndorf take the win 6 goals to 5.
