Match report
The weather held itself together as these two fierce teams played off for the final time this season. The Stirling team entered nervous - last time felt like a crushing defeat.
Today changed all of those nerves into energy to find the Stirling girls defending hard and attacking at all times. Sadly, the first goal was scored 16 minutes in by Torrens Valley and the crowd could feel the team starting to lose hope early on. Emma's amazing goal keeping kept the team holding for just the one goal in the first half.
During the break, Bill coached his girls through how to hold positions. This talk paid off late in the second half with two scores on the board for Stirling, but too little too late for Stirling as Torrens Valley secured their win by scoring three more AMAZING goals!
It was an amazing game to watch - with the Torrens Valley manager stating just how much the Stirling team had grown in such a short amount of time.
