Match report

The pitch was muddy and Hahndorf’s Under 9’s were keen to take on Stirling White at Mylor oval Saturday morning.

Miles Hennessy started the game off strong, scoring a goal not longer after the whistle blew. However, Stirling picked up the pace, making the first half a very evenly matched game. Charlie Roeszler started the first half off as goalkeeper who did a fantastic job with the help of our defence players Angus Ross and Saxon Sulskis. Harris Parkyn did wonderful in the midfield, bringing it forward with some excellent passing onto Michael Griggs who had some great shots at goal.

The second half saw Ross as goalkeeper who tried his best with the help from Roeszler and Sulskis in defence but unfortunately Stirling’s forward players started the second half off very strong. Hamish Glynn showed his skills in the second half scoring a goal along with getting the ball off the opposition and moving it down towards goal allowing other team members multiple attempts at goal aswell.

All players played a great game and came off the pitch very muddy.
