Match report

A wild and windy early morning start in Hahndorf with the team down a coach, Quinn and Hamish. Thanks to Kaleb's dad Chris who stepped in to coach the boys.

The Blues had a point to prove after their last game and were off to a cracker start with Kaleb, Daniel and Gage working well together early and stringing some nice passes between them. 

Ryland brought the defensive game early with some high energy tackles and strong accurate passes. A broken boot halfway through the game didn't slow him down, with a bit of duct tape he was straight back in.

Will Highson scored the first 2 back to back with a great shot high in the net.

Hahndorf struggled to get into the offensive with Liam, Ryland and William forming a tight line accross the back. Some excellent defensive kicks from William making it all the way down field.

Adam keen to get into the game after being frozen as goalie in the first half. He just kept coming and coming and coming and finished with a hat trick from what seemed like 50 attempts at goal. He and Liam had some great passes and set ups between them which were a pleasure to watch.

Gage was all over the ball and determioned to give it a crack in the second half but Hahndorf's keeper was just as determined with no attempts making it through.

Liam with a great strike and a bit of luck off the post scored his first.

The second half was all attack, with the Blues defence not having been troubled this half.
