Hahndorf U8’s took on Stirling in a gloomy and drizzly morning. The game started great for both teams, lots of spreading out and a clean fast flowing game ensured. Kealan Atkinson provided some amazing clearances from the goal line, providing the forwards opportunities to score. Stirling’s last line of defense was strong, making any shots at goals really difficult for Hahndorf, though Hahndorf pursued. Art Neville again had great commentary during the game and good blocks in the middle. Brooklyn Karamanov and Will Neelawala worked as a great pair up forward, driving the ball time and time again, weaving passes and plays through Stirlings defense, trying to make something from nothing. The team effort from all Hahndorf players were outstanding. Eric Jager in the back line, got some good boot to ball, and Carter Karamanov, the ever-reliable defensive player, made Stirling really have to step up to get near the goals. A very even first half by both teams.
