A very competitive game, even in skill and effort. Score reflected this. 14 mins in, Stirling Districts kicked their first goal. 25 mins into the first half, Hahndorf awarded a penalty kick which Jade Czulki kicked corner back of the net past the goalie, only to have the score denied as she didn't wait for the ref's whistle. Second attempt missed completely. Stirling Districts returned the ball to their scoring end in a flash, first attempt was smacked down by Hahndorf goalie Charlotte Fairley, only to be kicked straight back in, through Fairley's legs, by Stirling Districts' Layla Preece. It took 8 minutes for Hahndorf to retaliate with Ruby Tully finding the net with 1 minute left of the half.
The second half saw both teams hungry for goals but none were scored. However, once the ref called there was 10 minutes left, Stirling Districts saw a high turnaround of bench subs, with no less than 8 substitutions made. Final score 2-1, Stirling's way.
