Match report

With Strath firmly anchored to the bottom of the ladder and Murray Bridge Gold with one point, this was always going to be a more even game that the previous games Strath had come up against.  With 16 teams in the division and unbelievably no grading into two more even divisions, Strath did not believe they deserved to be thrashed week in week out against the top teams.  This was their chance to show what the young Strath team could do.

However, the game did not start too well when straight from kick off Murray Bridge opened their account.  Not to be deterred, Strath put their heads down, using coach Lewis McCabe's game plan to a tee, proceeding to put a further 5 goals in before half time.

Second half and Strath were determined to execute the game plan, passing the ball around, switching play and playing Ethan Pagliarulo in at every opportunity.

With over half the Strath team still eligible for U10, it bodes well for the rest of this season and next to put a strong squad together.
