<p><strong>What is your history with football?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Played my football in the UK. School, District and Club and then for Stathalbyn Seniors after 27 years of not playing.</li> <li>Coached at Mt Barker U9, U10s and assisted the U12s before Joining Strathalbyn. </li> <li>My two boys play in the U15s at Strathalbyn. Both my boys also play Reps football. </li> <li>I am coaching director at Strathalbyn and also manage the U15s.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What is your favourite football moment</strong>?</p> <p>My favourite football moment was watching Trevor Brooking score with his head in West Hams win over Arsenal in the 1980 FA Cup final.</p> <p><strong>What is your favourite AHJSA moment</strong>?</p> <ul> <li>My favourite AHJSA moments are the night 3 years ago that my son Ben got selected for the U12ds at reps and I met coach Lewis McCabe and his assistant coach Kyle Bailey and was introduced to the whole Rep programme and family. </li> <li>My other favourite moment was my other son Fin getting selected for Reps and my first Rep carnival season as coach and my U12d Rep team winning runners up at the State championship after a terrific carnival. </li> <li>My least favourite moment was getting knocked out in the semi finals at the country championships.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What does being involved in the AHJSA mean to you?</strong></p> <p>Being part of the AHJSA to me is giving football in the Adelaide Hills a chance to grow and teach young players the art of the beautiful world game. Starting early and driving the ambitions of all players and coaches that want the best outcome for Football.</p> <p><strong>What are your personal aspirations for being involved?</strong></p> <p>I want to see our future professional football players coming from hills based clubs.</p>
