A beautiful afternoon for football, the Woodside girls lined up to take on Murray Bridge for the second time this season, this time at the Murray Bridge home ground. A strong start for Woodside saw a few exciting opportunities early in the game, but the Bridge keeper's defence kept the scoreboard clear. Murray Bridge answered by stepping up their game, putting a couple into the back of the net in quick succession.
Continuing to fight throughout the Woodside girls had a fabulous second half, keeping the Bridge score low and responding with a couple of their own goals.
