Hahndorf travelled on a blowing winters morning to the absolutely magnificent facilities in Mt Barker Summit to take on the all girls Mt Barker Gold team for the round 9 clash.

Mt Barker girls kicked off with a spirited effort before Lucca Falvo-Lopez scored a prime goal from in front followed shortly by another goal to Jack Bidgood from a great cross from Falvo-Lopez.

After some more great team play and crosses Bidgood netted another despite a great effort from the Mt Barker Gold keeper.

The game rolled on with a few more great efforts and misses before Jhett Frost scorched a netter from in front. With some more back and forths Sol Cootes then kicked another winner too.

Cohen Whinfield blistered one from just to the right of the net that hit the cross bar and another one went on the board to make it 6-0 at half time for the Hahndorf lads.

After oranges, lollies and half time banter Connor Ozolins started the second half with a rippa goal before Frost nailed goal of the season with a sliding cross kick to take it to 8-0.

Lachlan Gardner, Ozolins, Frost, Ashton Broadbent-Shaw, Whinfield and Cootes, rounded out the scoring for the second half.

The boys should be commended on their respectful gamesmanship. Well done
