Match report

This week the U11s headed out to Murray Bridge for their game. The pitch was wet but the sky was clear and crisp. Lachlan Gardner spent the game in goals and played a strong game defending many a shot, along with Eli Parkyn in defence they worked to keep the game nil all up to half time.

In attack Thomas Gould and Hugo Curtis worked well together and had two shots on goal defended in the first half, along with a strong attempt on goal from Ashton Broadbent.

The second half of the match saw multiple goals from both teams. The first goal came from Alice Cannavo passing to Patrick Freer to make the score. After several close shots, including a strong set up by Cohen Whinfield, Rowan Gilroy also found the net late in the second half. Murray Bridge were enthused by their own goals in this half and Pearl Beasley, Jack Gaskin and Parkyn worked well together to steadily bring the ball back to the rest of the Hahndorf team. An exciting game this round against a strong opponent.
