Match report

It was looking like a rainy match for the u8s Round 7 battle between Strathalbyn and Hahndorf but the rain held off.

Hahndorf won the kick off and started the game pushing forward with Levi Neumann strong in attack.

It was a close tussle but Hahndorf's Joshua Blain was tight in defence.

Hahndorf continued to push the ball forward with Oliver Knight having an attempt on the goals.

Hahndorf persisted against a strong Strathalbyn defence with Ali Semple and Carter Hartley keeping the run through the midfield, which resulted in a great goal from Owen Hoyle.

Soren Mickan manned the goals for Hahndorf in the first half, and ended the first half with a few saves from the Strathalbyn attack.

Rosie Semple was very enthusiastic to be Hahndorf's Goalkeeper in the second half.Violet Mitchell stood strong in Hahndorf's defensive half. 

Hahndorf continued attacking the ball, with great passing play from A. Semple, allowing Mickan and Knight a few more attempts on goals, only to be saved by Strathalbyn's attentive goalkeeper.

It was a very evenly fought match between Strathalbyn and Hahndorf on a very cold morning!

All players played well in a great display of teamwork from both sides.
