Match Report – Under 8s Black – Saturday 18 May 2024

On a brisk Saturday morning, the Hahndorf Under 8s Black saw only 5 players making up the team however Woodside were kind enough to lend us some of their players so we could have a full side.

It was a challenging first half but the team did a great job of keeping momentum with William as goalkeeper stopping some great goals and the team doing some great defending and keeping pressure on Woodside. The second half was exciting to watch with Hahndorf really picking up their energy and doing a great job of trying to get the ball down, with some some very close attempts at goals from Axel and William. Levi had some excellent saves as goalkeeper and Maisie did a great job in the wing defending and staying on her opponents. Some great defending by Finn which saved many balls from getting to Woodside’s goals.

It was a difficult match for Hahndorf having many of their players away however they gave it their all and had a great game – well done team!
