Thermals was the order of the day at Strath for the clash between Mt Barker and Strath Red. Last time they had a thrilling 7-6 game so it promised to deliver goals, goals and moe goals.
It was a bit of an arm wrestle to start with. Both teams have improved out of sight since the first round and they knew a bit more about each other making it a much closer game altogether.
Strath held the ascendency until the last ten minutes when they just could not keep Mt Barker at bay, falling away for a 6-3 loss. Mt Barker's first win this year and setting up an interesting final game in September.
