Match report
The sun was shining bright for the u8s Round 10 clash between Hahndorf and Woodside Blue.
Hahndorf started the game with Carter Hartley as Goalkeeper for the first half. Hahndorf were out of the blocks quickly with Soren Mickan and Oliver Knight putting the pressure on Woodside defence. Levi Neumann used his speed to get some good runs with the ball pushing deep into attack, resulting in Hahndorf's first goal. The Woodside defence was kept busy, with Hahndorf pushing forward again resulting in Indie Dunning scoring her first for the season.
In the second half Ali Semple pulled on the Goal Keeper's guernsey. Joshua Blain was strong in defence, along with Violet Mitchell and Rosie Semple. Owen Hoyle showed some great foot skills up forward, keeping the Woodside defence busy.
The weather was the star of the day, providing perfect conditions for a great soccer battle. Well done to both teams!
