Match report
The Hahndorf Under 13 team played Murray Bridge at the Summit stadium this round and played a strong game winning the match 2-0.
The weather was sharp from the opening whistle, and we saw strong play from the Hahndorf attack with Eli Parkin, and Emlyn Gilroy making strong attempts and the first goal of the game from Lawson Shotton. Jackson Bidgood was in goals for the duration of the match and successfully defended multiple shots from the Murray Bridge attack. The Hahndorf defence was well supported by a strong game from Chris Haynes as well as good play from Louis Moran.
In the second half of the game the weather turned to an icy drizzle. Both teams continued to play valiantly, including Ashton Broadbent who split the defence to deliver Shotton the ball for his second goal of the match. Leaving Hahndorf with the 2-0 victory for the round.
