Strath may have had a strong start but Stirling quickly showed they meant business. Evie Reid was strong in defence in what may be this newcomer's best game yet. In her second game ever, Feiya Huang revealed a strong left foot under pressure. Zora Huang and Aubrey Adams showed some strong team work moving the play across the midfield and some good distribution from Jess Verryt. Although a recluctant striker, Flossie Baker worked hard pushing the ball forward. At the L7 minute mark, Evie-Mae Kaines scored Stirling's first goal. Team work between Z Huang and Amber Abrahams up the wing translated into an attempt on goal by Zora Huang at the 14 min expertly stopped by the keeper. This fired up Strath's Hannah Thredgold who scored their only goal at 24 minutes despite En Ueda's strong keeping skills. Ruby Tully had been strong in defence and brought her on pitch leadership to the half time conversation, reminding her team mates to talk and pass to one another.

 

Fresh from the half time oranges' sugar rush, Jess Verryt scored a goal after only a minute. Having moved to goals, Evie-Mae Kaines' keeping skills came in handy. Nora Bijlsma maintained her typically cool head, read the game well and cleared the ball out to wing and sidelines time and time again. A good assist from En Ueda saw Jess Verryt score again after another 7 minutes. Evie Reid made a goal attempt but it was En Ueda who scored Stirling's fourth and final goal of the game.
