Round 2 saw a step up in confidence from all players. It was a tug of war against Mount Barker Red. We knew they had a strong side and were good at using the ball. However, we were able to move the ball from the back of the pitch by stringing passes together and using our team mates to take it up the line. With great team work and some fabulous BIG kicks, we managed to win the game by 1 point. Our Goalies worked hard saving several balls which was an excellent effort. The weather turned very cold and very wet within minutes, and even though the ground got soggy and so did all the players and team supporters, they didn't give up.
