Match report

Closing out the season for Woodside's U17 Girls team they faced Torrens Valley at their home ground in the DonateLife round of pink vs white.

Torrens donned the pink socks, whilst Woodside wore the white to support the promotions of DonateLife and encourage everyone to simply have a discussion with family about organ and tissue donation and perhaps register as a donor through DonateLife.

With the growth in the team work and skills from the Woodside girls throughout the season, this match against Torrens Valley provided an entertaining game of soccer. Some great passing between players saw the ball flowing across the pitch.  Coupled with some solid defending to keep the Torrens girls away from goal scoring opportunity, and some driving attack from Woodside's forward line.  All in all a great game of soccer to watch, eventually falling in the favour of Torrens Valley, who managed to pop one into the back of the net.

Congratulations to all of the Woodside girls - many of them new to soccer this season, and just out there willing to give it a go. It's been a fabulous year on the sidelines, watching all the players grow and develop in their game.  We all look forward to watching you out there again next season!
