Match report
Although it was the first official day of winter, we were given perfect weather at Hahndorf for the 1pm match between Hahndorf S.C and Mount Barker United Red. A Solid start by Hahndorf attacking early in the first half, but proving difficult for the younger side to get past Mount Barker’s strong defence.
Following a few shots on goal and great saves by Hahndorf’s keeper came lovely first goal for the match by Max Chapman from the right wing. A second goal from Boyce Currie, set the half time score at 2-0.
After making a few position changes in the second half, Mount Barker found their rhythm. Richard Fries and Harrison Hoppe each scoring hat tricks, Anthony Palma scoring a couple and a second from Boyce Currie. An overall great effort by Hahndorf giving it their all against the older U14 team.
