The forcasted weather had all spectators dressed for the pouring rain that was being predicted, but instead the bright sun had both teams removing jumpers and jackets and drinking LOTS of water.

The Stirling District girls went into the first half playing hard. Tries for goals were made by all attacking (and even some defending) team mates, but with only one success story - Hannah Noonan sneaking a goal up high to put the first point of the day in her name. The attackers kept pushing strong, but with no further goals achieved to either team.

The half time talk had the Stirling District girls once again ready to attack. Emma Dalton in goals blocking many tries for goal to secure her team no scores against them. Char Langley meanwhile kept the ball driving down the pitch to try for goals many times. In fact, all the Stirling attackers kept pushing the ball to the goal, but it was Char who convincingly took two goals to her name and secured the win for Stirling District.
