An amazingly warm and sunny setting in the beautiful Summit Grounds got these two teams fired up and ready to play.

The starting whistle blew and both teams kept themselves evenly matched throughout the first 19 minutes of the game. With a swift shot on goal #5 Mount Barker Gold showed their extreme agility to beat through the defensive line up and gather a tough goal. Both teams then re-set for more intense one on one action. In the 24th minute the next shot on goal occured from Mount Barker but Clancy Kupniewski showed his amazing goal keeping ability to push a tough ball over the top of the goal for an amazing finger tip save.

The second half started with the same match of attack and defence from both sides. But once again #5 proved their strength to smash another ball straight through defence and hit the back of the net. They tried once more to defeat Clancy but his hand was quick and strong and once again he pushed the ball over the top of the goal to ensure that his goal was clear. Not long after #42 took their opportunty with the goal line clear to push the ball through the goal and secure the win for Mount Barker Gold.
