Match report
It was a beautiful sunny morning at the Rob Kilpatrick Park where Hahndorf ‘s Under 9 boys team put on a strong effort showing great teamwork and determination against Murray Bridge.The first half was quiet for Angus Clifton who was goal keeperas Harris Parkyn and Hamish Glynn worked hard bringing the ball up the field from our defenders Charlie Roeszler and Leo Davies who all did a wonderful job passing the ball onto other players. Miles Hennessy and Michael Griggs put on a show in the forward half however they had a hard time getting through Murray Bridge’s goal keeper with their multiple attempts at goal.
The second half saw Roeszler become goalkeeper who did an excellent job stopping Murray Bridge’s attempts at goal. Saxon Sulskis and Clifton did great in defence while Griggs, Hennessy and Davies fought hard up front. However, Murray Bridge knew our forward was strong so kept their best goalkeeper on and unfortunately he was too good for our players to get any goals through.
The Hahndorf Under 9’s team put on a solid effort and thanks Murray Bridge for a great game.
