What a stella morning it was on Peramangk land. The rain cleared and held off for our home game at Mylore oval against Hahndorf this morning.

Our U9 Blue team has had a challenging start to the season, playing some very strong teams in the first few rounds. This time, skills were more evenly matched, in spite of some strong goal kicking by Hahndorf.

We had an early shot on goal by our Eloise, which was well defended by our opponents. Fergus successfully blocked many goal attempts as keeper. Some were just too strong for us at this time.

Later in the second half, the team assisted Caleb in securing a spectacular goal straight through the centre line. Well done to all players who assisted in this goal. It was truly amazing to watch.

This was possibly our strongest game so far, with lots of eager tackling and passing to team mates. Some special thanks to Ajay, from the U7 side who stepped in to help us out. We were two down due to illness. Ajay did an amazing job down the left wing, looking completely at ease in the U9 side.
