Round 12 saw a couple of firsts for Hahndorf U9 White - first game on artificial turf and first game with new rules. The team adjusted well and started enthusiatically against Mt Barker White. Willow Duggan and Saskia Merry worked hard in defence to support Scout Ramsey in goal and to feed the ball forwards to midfielders Kaylee Sheremetjev and Holly Pippos . It was a lively game to watch with the ball moving from side to side with Ramsey making a few good saves. Mt Barker scored the first goal but forwards Amelie Rymer and Charlotte Rymer played well together and repeatedly found space to attack and run on goal. However, their efforts were stopped by Mt Barker's goalie.

In the second half Mt Barker kept pushing forward putting Eden Stell and Pippos, now in defence, under pressure and Merry in goal had to face many shots. Mt Barker dominated the midfield but Duggan and Ramsey managed to play the ball forwards a few times. Unfortunately, C. Rymer and Sheremetjev were stopped by Mt Barker's defenders. It was a good game to watch with all Hahndorf players improving technically from game to game.
