On a brisk but sunny day Torrens Valley made the short journey to Woodside. Playing 8-aside Torrens Valley started strong getting in front of goal early on. It appeared to be a very even competition with some great midfield play. Torrens Valley had a few shots at goal that went wide. Woodside then came back and cut through Torrens Valley defence for a quick goal. Another shot from Woodside could not be stopped by the Torrens Valley goalkeeper. More midfield play ensued with some strong skills on display by both teams. Another shot at goal came from Woodside but was saved by the Torrens Valley goalkeeper.

The second half started much like the first with an even looking competition. Woodside picked up the pace and Torrens Valley defended heavy and stopped Woodside from getting through to the goals. A quick counterattack from Torrens Valley allowed then to get past the Woodside goalkeeper. Woodside flirted around the goals with Torrens Valley defence working hard to keep it away. A brilliant strike from Woodside hit the top corner pocket for a fantastic goal. A corner for Torrens Valley was well defended by Woodside. Woodside then took a corner which was well placed in front of one of their forwards earning them another goal.
