Hahndorf immediately put Woodside on the defence with Jet Zahara taking a massive kick at the goals, but it went straight over the goals and down the hill.

Then Joash Ng took a great shot at goal but the keeper made a brilliant save.

The game turned around and Hahandorf were on the defence, giving Luciann Tinsley-Smith, Oliver Sarapii-Palombo, and Luca Cannavo a great work out. The ball snuck past them but Harrison Gould managed to save the attempt on goal. This spurred Hahndorf on taking the ball down to goal where Patrick Hinze passed to Levi Beesley who took a shot on goal but  just went past the post.

Daniel Peters took a shot on goal, hit the post but Jet Zahra managed to find the back of the nets. At the end of the first half the kids were very hot and sweaty.

The second half saw Hahndorf again on the attack, but Woodside were not giving up that easily.  Woodside had 3 separate shots on goal but Hinze was in great form, saving all three attempts. Pepe Zahra, Isaac Bonilla-Killey and Jacob Gardner were not going to let the ball get down to the goal area again, blocking the Woodside team.For a while the ball was going back and forth in each half.  Eventually Hayden Lien got the ball and passed to Cooper Liddle who scored his first goal.Again defence were strong, passing to mid field where Gould took the ball and got his first goal for this game. The teams were starting to look tired, hot and sweaty now as the end of the game approached.  Ng, wasn't giving up, taking a huge shot at goal, scoring the final goal of the day. What a great game by both teams.
