Match report
The Hahndorf Under 8’s soccer team put on a dominant display on Saturday morning to win a deserved match against Nairne.
From the outset Hahndorf showed great control of the game with outstanding passing and teamwork from all players.
Brooklyn Rohde defended the goals for the 1st half and stopped a number of Nairne attempts.
Kept busy for the entire game was Carter Hartley who kicked 2 goals and Jack Coffey who kicked 1 goal. Jasper Christou and Hamish Glynn provided great defence and consistently worked the ball back to the forward line.
Angus Clifton, Samuel Gardner and Paddy Coffey stopped many attacks and showed great team work running the ball back into the Hahndorf forward line.
The 2nd half saw the Hahndorf Magpies remain strong and consistent, with Michael Griggs defending the goals.
Brooklyn Rohde with Griggs and Hugo Dahmke dominating the midfield opening up multiple opportunities for strikes at goal.
Both teams played with great spirit, fun and teamwork, providing the supporters with an exhilarating game to watch.
