Match report

We were met with wintry, drizzly weather, well suited for our Woodside Warriors U9 Red Team players to be chasing after the ball and loving the experience for the first start of the soccer season.  The Woodside Warriors played against Mount Barker U9 Red Team who played a good game. However, the drizzled overcast sky did not last and the teams played hard chasing the wet and slippery ball. 

The awesome bunch of stars eagerly played with energy, enthusiasm and fancy foot work that resulted in some successful passing and kicking some goals. Firstly, achieved by Elliot Stewart and then by Quinn Klein. A proud bunch of parents cheered for all the players on the field. It was a remarkable start for what we hope, to be a great and exciting soccer season this year.
