Match report
Another game moved to Strath due to pitch condition - it really was Stirling Districts' home away from home once more!

As usual, Jessie made great options, passed well and made good runs throughout the game. Mollie and Sadie worked hard, with the tenacity if terriers at the ball and when occasion allowed, the worked strongly together including runs on goal. Flossie was a keen striker beaten by the opposition's speed and that of some of her team mates. Unfortunately Zoe York received an injury to her ankle after a promising start which saw her benched for the rest of the day. Thanks to U17G team mate Ashlyn Hewitt for enforccing first aid when the efforts of adults were shunned.
Throughout the match Lily kept her head up, looked for options, passed well and ran hard. Stirling had conceded 3 goals by half time despite the valiant efforts of Aubrey Adams, without which Strath's tally would have been significantly higher!

Moving from controlling the back line to striking, Ruby Tully once again showed true grit and determination. Auriana again made some formidable runs down the side throughout the match and held Strath's strong ring in to account, especially in the second half. Unfortunately her impressive efforts were unrewarded. Nora brought her maturity and savvy game awareness as usual, holding the back line and communicating well with the team with natural leadership. Amber continues to grow both her confidence and also the power of her kicks - exciting promise of things to come! Aubrey looked for team mates and held position well. En Ueda was keen to take over as keeper for the second half and it's unfortunate that several goals slipped passed her.

A disappointing loss for Stirling Districts and a rarity this season. Well done girls on keeping your heads up and taking coaching advice so well. Congratulations Strath Strikers!
