The cupround 2 match today between Hahndorf Black and Nairne was played at pine avenue.

A very competitive game today, played with great spirit from both sides. Nairne proved too strong overall, and deservedly moves into the semi finals for the cup.

Best players for Hahndorf, with coach's summaries:

3 Tom - The score could have been a lot worse without Tom in goals! Considerable bravery in a lot of saves, ran at the players and put them under pressure as they attacked resulting in a lot of forced errors. Found players with his kick outs most times and organised defence well on corners.

2 Ryan - Strong defensive skills and always made plays, even under time pressure. Seemed to be everywhere in defence and showed a lot of positivity and tenacity when he was consistently facing an attack.

1 Esther - Ran at the ball instead of waiting for it, made two or three clever passes down the wing to set up plays, and followed her mark for most of the match. Excellent fitness even in the end.
