Wet Conditions

It was a wet morning, but the team and spectators showed no sign of lack of commitment, the team start out their all bouncing up and down shivering to keep themselves warm, this was quickly forgotten by all except for charlie in goals as it was a very woodside dominated match. 

Charlie Knipe managed to get one save as goalie early in the game, but after that the team woke up and continued on scoring goals. 5 in the first half and 3 in the second final score of

8-0

Even though the score line shows a very one sided match, it was our whole team effort that made this possible, our goals were scored by 5 different players Mitchell B, Matthew H, Samuel C, Scott S, William H,some of the boys had not scored yet this season, and it was great to see everyone getting in there  , which shows the team is sharing the ball around and playing as a group which is great to see.

Highlights from the game Scott kicking a goal over the goalies head what a placement, headers by both Samuel and Matt  bring the game to the next level, William scoring his first goal for a while as he usually defends and charlie turning blue in goals from the cold after such a great effort in goals the whole game, her attitude towards it was fantastic. 

Steve Knipe umpired this week and it was great for the team to have such good umpiring it really helps them learn the rules properly. 

A big thankyou to the parents all getting in and helping set up the pitch and pack up just happened in a flash of flashes, also thanks to the canteen people I hear it was quiet but dry.
