Anembo Park was home for the Hahndorf Magpie's windy round 4 match against Mount Barker United Blue.

Both coaches set the game with positivity after "elbow touches" to get the game going.  The whistle blew and within the first minute Soren Mickan ran a long stretch and scored Hahndorf's first goal.

Josh Pettitt came out firing and attempted his first goal of the day however it was saved by Mt Barker's goalie.  Pettitt's strong kicks to mid fielders Mickan and Carter Hartley led to another attempt at goal.  Owen Hoyle showed wonderful confidence and foot skills through the middle of the pitch.  Pettitt's strength continued and a hat trick was scored by him in the first half.

Indie Dunning had some quick running with the ball and a great shot at goal but was unable to score.  Levi Neumann spent the first half as goalie and saved Mt Barker's attempt.  The first half finished with Oliver Knight scoring a ripper.

Fresh legs from Neumann gave good run through the second half with some attempts at goal.  Mt Barker scored their first goal of the game and Violet Mitchell provided good passes allowing Hoyle to score Hahndorf's final goal of the match.

Great to watch the kids enjoying themselves on the pitch!
