Match report

Under 9 Blue hosted Hahndorf White on home ground today.  The conditions were good and the team were keen to get back out on the pitch after a break last week.  The first half was very tough with a lot of the play in our defence.  The opposition were fast and their dribbling skills more developed than ours.  After the much needed half time break, we came back out with a good attitude and saw more of the ball this half.  Our defence were stronger allowing less goals to pass and our attack managed to break through the middle for a good attempt at goal.  Unfortunately the result was a 5 goal loss to Woodside, but our players kept pushing to the very end and with no substitutes to rotate, did a fantastic job overall.  Well done everyone!
