The Hahndorf under 9 team put on a solid effort to come out with a draw against Mt Barker United Red.

Hahndorf athletes on their own turf turned on the heat from the beginning, with great balls skills and kicking from Levi Neumann moving the ball down the field with help from Jak Skinner, Carter Hartley and Mason Saywell.

Josh Blain was tough and took control of the ball having a powerful kick at goals. Nic Moran as goalie for the first half took a huge dive and managed to keep out all attempts  by the strong Mt Barker United strikers.

The second half remained intense, Hahndorf dominated the visitors with Danny Morgan and Harrison Whitehead right on the ball, defusing any signs of Mt Barker attacking.

Any attempts from the opposition were unsuccessful with Jasper Christou as goalie in the second half.
