Kealan Atkinson started off the game in goals, however it was a struggle for him to see much of the action down the other end of the pitch due to the thick fog. The ball was hotly contested by both teams in the first few minutes but a nice throw in from Miles Hennessy created the first goal attempt for Hahndorf by Harris Parkyn. The Rangers then had a nice run towards goals but it was defended beautifully by Scout Ramsey. Hamish Glynn had a few fantastic attempts at goals with one just skimming over the cross bar. A great long kick by Charlie Roeszler in defence stopped another good run forward by The Rangers. Hennessy had his first shot at goals for the game but well saved by The Rangers goalie. 18 minutes into the first half and Glynn scored Hahndorfs first goal. 

The Second half saw Roeszler head in to goals along with Parkyn & Hennessy as defenders. Atkinson and Ramsey made some great touches of the ball up in Hahndorf forward, along with some great defence by Clifton. The Rangers again had some strong runs forward towards goals but Hahndorfs defence was strong.

Some great team work & communication saw a great goal for Michael Griggs. With less than 5 minutes to go in the game all players were really starting to feel the cold but they all persevered and pushed through. With not long to go the in game, Griggs set himself up nicely to receive a great pass and score another goal. 

Each week the confidence and team work grows for Hahndorf U8 team. With all players really giving their best and enjoying the game. Thank you to Basket Range for making Hahndorf feel so welcome and being so encouraging of all player on the field.
