Match report

After a sunny drive to Strath we encountered foggy, gloomy conditions at the ground. This week both teams needed fog lights on the back of thier shirts, and we installed flashing beacons on top of the goals so the players new where they were kicking!!!! We were like ships navigating into the harbour on a cold, foggy and eery morning ;-)

 Woodside got off to a strong start putting lots of forward pressure on Strath with some early goals scored. During the game Woodside pushed forward, this allowed a couple of opportunity's for Strath to get a quick break which they capitalised on getting themselves on the score sheet.

Leo scored a couple of sneaky goals from deep into the base line curling the ball past the keeper and into the goals. All part of the plan according to Leo!!

The Team put together another solid performance using each other and passing the ball around. Merrick is gaining in confidence and getting into good position on the pitch. An area for improvement is taking solid shots at goal from a cross to the top of the box. Keep up the great work team.
