Match report

Torrens Valley jumped out of the blocks and got a goal within the first 2 minutes by Adelaide Williams.

The Woodside players have continued to progress with their skill levels and tackling against our team since our last game.

At half time Andrew Miller had to sweep the water away from puddles in the middle of the pitch for the game to continue.

The players would have found the pitch very slippery after the recent rain.

The ball would have been cold for the goalies to collect at each end whilst protecting their area.

I would like to congratulate No. 10 of Woodside for scoring her first goal and I understand there was another Woodside player that scored their first goal last week.  All these achievements from a new team will help the team grow and improve.

The final score did not indicate the competitive nature of the 2 teams.
